Mr. Jean-Marc Huet was appointed as the Chief financial officer of Unilever. He replaces Mr. James Lawrence. On the other hand Mr. Huet has resigned from the position of finance chief at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), a pharmaceutical company. Mr Huet, a product of worked for Dartmouth College and Insead, the French business school has previously worked for Royal Numico, the Dutch baby food company owned by Danone.
Mr. Jean-Marc Huet has functioned in the role of an executive director of Investment Banking Services at the London offices of Goldman Sachs. On the other hand Mr. Lawerence is released from his notice period and hence will leave without pay out. He will still retain his stake of €14 million in the world’s second-biggest consumer products group which is equally popular for Knorr soups and ice creams sold under the brand name Ben & Jerry.
